Chronology of cameras Rower
Referred to simply as "Rower" for the sake of simplicity, the full name of the company was "Société de Fabrication et de Vente des Appareils Photographiques, des Films Rower."
This company was established on May 17, 1935, with its address at 92 Avenue des Champs-Élysées. It operated as a SARL (Société à Responsabilité Limitée) with a capital of 50,000 francs.
The company was declared bankrupt on February 13, 1940. During this period, the capital had been doubled.

This is a sophisticated variation of the Rower . with a Stignax lens. The shutter is offering instant and bulb exposure settings, it is always cocked.
Its format is 35x40 mm using special Rower rolls.
The finder is thicker than the one of the simple model and is fitted with a stand to install it.
This stand is the adaptation of the moving part of the finder.
It is from this model that the Pin Up has been engineered. But from a special cast model because its back is not including any red window.
